rhum - humans and resources is expanding to Europe
Today, rhum is taking a step towards an international expansion, with the opening of a European branch, which will be based in Berlin, Germany, and working with clients across Europe. Not only will this expansion allow rhum to locally serve its European clients, but it will also contribute to expand its global network and connect to a greater extent with the ever-moving international talent pool.
2020 was a challenging year for all of us, and 2021 is looking brighter at rhum. In 2017, rhum started small in Montreal, and we are proud to say that today we have built teams of awesome human beings in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Rhum’s team couldn’t be more grateful to be working with such amazing clients in gaming, VFX, animation, advertising, VR and innovative technologies.
While creating a more human-centric, transparent and adapted business model for our industry over the last four years, rhum has collaborated with multinational clients such as Method Studios (Top Gun 2, Wonderwoman), Framestore (Mulan, Blade Runner), Rovio (Angry Birds), 2K Games (Bioshock), and innovative local businesses such as Felix & Paul Studios (International Space Station VR Experience), Republik, Bleu Blanc Rouge, East Side Games, Hyper Hippo, Nectar, to name a few. Rhum has managed to stand out from its competitors by truly diving deep into technology and art, and through its 360-approach to talent strategies and human resources for its clients.
“From day 1, it was my ambition to connect with international talent and clients, and position rhum as a leader in talent acquisition and development in the innovative and creative industries across the globe. We stay true to our defined mission: ⍘Creating connections for humans and organizations to grow together.⍘ In these strange times, this positive news brings me so much joy and excitement, and I feel that the awesome tribe we have built at rhum will successfully take us to this next step in our journey” Pierre-Luc Labbée, President.
Rhum has already signed Europe-based clients and will make sure to quickly build a local team to connect with local talent and be present in the creative ecosystem across Europe.
“I am so excited to share this news with our community. Expanding rhum’s operations to Europe has been a natural next step to harness the amazing global experience of our team and bring our unique, high-touch model and services to purpose-driven, creative technology companies. It’s been a challenging year for so many and I’m truly grateful to continue to help people and organizations adapt and weather any storms the future may bring.” Dana Ramnarine, Vice-President
