rhum Vancouver is growing - Talent and HR Lead

With teams based in Montreal, Vancouver, and Barcelona and clients across North America, we exist to elevate the HR function, providing a new level of support to creative and technology teams while helping candidates across the globe as they explore new career adventures. Our mission is to create connections for humans and organizations to grow together.

We are caring, compassionate, and curious ‘People’ people.

We stand for equity, building diverse companies, and supporting people-first leaders who nurture and empower their teams. We believe in flourishing talent communities, not static pipelines. We are partners with our client's internal teams to build and execute effective hiring and talent development strategies. Since rhum’s inception in 2017, we have successfully assisted a wide range of clients in creative and tech industries such as SaaS, games, VFX, advertising, AR/VR, clean technology, AI, and Design.

About the Talent & HR Lead

As Talent & HR Lead at rhum, you will design and refine a talent experience that feels thoughtful, rigorous, and human, from equitable hiring practices to consistent, scalable SOPs that clients can trust and teams can easily adopt. In this role, you will regularly toggle between setting the vision for where we are going and building the roadmap, tools, and systems that get us there, ensuring our approach is both strategic, consistent, and high-touch. You will also co-lead our HR practice and elevate the Talent function into a strategic, high-impact pillar of the business. Working closely with our Montreal-based HR Lead, you will shape how rhum partners with clients to collaborate, evolve, and retain exceptional people, and help define what best-in-class HR consulting looks like in our ecosystem.

As the HR function is a newer offering at rhum, you will play a foundational role in building and differentiating it—developing frameworks, processes, and resources that position rhum as a leader in HR consulting. You will also act as a key partner and mentor to our current HR/Talent Specialist, strengthening our internal practices, optimizing our tools, and creating the conditions for our people and clients to grow.
